BLURB
The problem with crazy is that crazy, by itself, has no context. It can be good crazy, bad crazy . . . or crazy crazy—like it was when my ex-boyfriend sung about me on the radio.

Eighteen-year-old Kate couldn’t be more excited about finishing high school and spending the summer on tour with her boyfriend’s band. Her dad showing up drunk at graduation, however, is not exactly kicking things off on the right foot—and that’s before she finds out about his mystery illness, certain to end in death.

A mystery illness she is likely to inherit.

When your whole life goes from adventure and ecstasy to sad and suicidal, what’s the point? Not knowing who to love, and who to trust . . . where does it end?

The Problem With Crazy is a story about love and life; about overcoming obstacles, choosing to trust, and learning how to make the choices that will change your life forever.

Excerpt

Lachlan reached over and grabbed my hand, pulling it closer to him. He unstretched all my fingers from the fist they’d been making, and rubbed the little lines in my palm, caused when I’d dug my fingers in a few seconds earlier.

“See this?” He waved my pinky finger in front of my face. I laughed. “It’s perfect. See how you have—” he paused, and counted, tapping each of my appendages in turn. “—one, two, three, four, five of them.”

“You should see my other hand.” I gave a half-smile.

“You have five perfect fingers. And these scars you’re giving yourself,” he said, running his finger over the little indents in my skin where my nails had burned me, and I shivered. “They’re temporary. In one hour, one day, one week—they’re going to fade. But nothing’s gonna change these perfect fingers.”

“So you’re saying that, even if I have Huntington’s, I’ll still have good hands?” I raised my eyebrows.

“I’m saying that, deep down, nothing will change your perfect.”

Book & Author Details:
Escorted by Claire Kent
(Escorted #1)
Publication date: December 15th 2012
Genres: Erotica, Romance
Synopsis:

She hired him to take her virginity…but now she wants even more.

Lori might be a popular romance writer, but she’s never been anything but a flop with sex and love in her personal life. Still a virgin at twenty-six and increasingly frustrated by her inexperience, she decides to take matters into her own hands. She hires a talented, sexy male escort to take care of her inconvenient virginity.

She assumes one time with Ander will be enough, but she never dreams how much pleasure he can make her feel. Once isn’t nearly enough. Twice isn’t enough either. Soon, she becomes one of his regular clients.

Lori knows that nothing would be as foolish as falling in love with her paid escort, but she’s never been wise with her heart. And, despite his professionalism, he doesn’t seem entirely immune either.

Excerpts from Escorted by Claire Kent

“Did you have any questions about the prices your friend explained to you?” Ander asked. “You’ll pay for an entire evening. That’s the base price. I offer nothing lower than that.”

She looked up at him, frowning. He didn’t have a website like some escorts, instead relying on personal referrals, but details Sabrina had gotten from the women she’d talked to were quite clear. She was a professional woman. Not an idiot. “Yes, I was able to understand the services you offer and what you charge for them,” she said, her tone a little snippy.

His mouth twitched, so slightly she almost didn’t catch it. “Good. I just wanted to make it clear that you pay for the entire evening, whether or not you use it. I don’t hire myself out by the hour.”

For some reason, his dry tone made her want to snicker again. She stifled it, in case he would mistake it for mockery. “Understood.”

“We can do whatever you like for the evening. I can act as escort, play a part if you want or provide general companionship. If you’re interested in anything sexual, that will cost extra.”

Lori couldn’t believe she was sitting here, in the middle of a park in downtown Seattle, having this conversation. Her cheeks burned involuntarily, but she wasn’t as mortified as she’d expected. Ander was so business-like and matter-of-fact about the situation that it helped Lori feel that way too.

“I thought I made my interests clear when we talked on the phone,” she said.

Ander nodded. “Of course. The prices differ for oral on you, oral on me, and full intercourse.”

A nagging question that had been bugging her for a few days prompted her to ask, “Who would pay you that much money for you to get the blow job?”

Again, that slight twitch of his mouth. She wasn’t even sure it meant anything—his expression was generally so calm as to be stoic. But she found that occasional little quiver of his mouth the most appealing thing about him. “Women have different desires when they make use of my services. Some find giving more thrilling than receiving. Some simply want the practice.”

Lori thought about that for a moment. It was something she’d never even considered before.

Ander cleared his throat, bringing her attention back to him. “Perhaps you can give me a little information about your goals for this engagement.”

She nodded. “Right. Well, I sure as hell wouldn’t pay this much money for a date.” She took a breath. Summoned all her fortitude and courage. “I want to have sex.”

“Yes, but what are your goals for the sex? Are you looking for a particular mood or brand of excitement? Do you just want to relieve tension? Get something you can’t get from other partners? I’m not trying to pry into your personal motivations, but I need a little direction if we’re to make this a successful engagement.”

“Right.” She shifted on the bench. Told herself she would be paying this man a lot of money a few days from now so she had nothing to be embarrassed about. And surely he’d encountered a lot of stranger things in his line of work. “I want to have sex because I haven’t had it before. Yet.”

Excerpt:

Damn him. Damn him. Damn him. Like a bad apple, he just had to pop up in her new home. She’d left Durban to escape him, and here he was, back again, tormenting her as ever. Awful enough that memories of him were with her all the time, without him turning up in the flesh. And what flesh it was….

“You had a good time in Italy?” she inquired.

Phil nodded.

“Great. Well, I have things to do. Bye.”

“Running away, Em?”

Emma, who had starting walking toward the door, stopped in her tracks and turned around. “I’ve moved on, Phil.”

“You mean you’ve moved away. You haven’t moved on.”

“What makes you so sure?”

Phil gazed into her eyes before looking down at her mouth, and Emma swallowed hard. He always made her insides twist into knots, and the fact she couldn’t bear to be in the same room with him for even five minutes clearly showed she hadn’t moved on.

She had to put him behind her, though, and stop allowing him to upset her equilibrium to the degree he did.

But as she studied his once-loved face, she let out a tiny sigh. How did you just move on and forget someone? Especially when you’d once believed that someone was the love of your life?

She stood immobile for a long moment. Then, without a word, she turned around again and walked out of the room.

Excerpt
I poke my hip out and cross my arms; trying to look casual. I’m hoping that he can’t tell that I’m lying. It won’t hurt to make him think I was with someone last night. Leo frowns, taking a step forward. “You didn’t leave with anyone last night, you went home with Maisy.”
I notice Maisy’s laughter has stopped. Great, her and Max are eavesdropping. The girl acts as though she doesn’t like drama, but she sure does seem to like to get all up in my shit. I take a step away from Leo’s intense gaze, coming to a stop when my back smacks into the limo. Oh shit, I don’t want to be trapped by Leo, I can’t. I take a deep breath, calming myself. “You don’t know who I met once I left.”
I see his jaw tense, maybe I shouldn’t tease him, but why should he be bothered? All I ever was to him was a great fuck. Why should he care if I sleep with other men? “Did you?”
I avoid his glare. “It’s not your business.” I go to move to the side of him, but he slams his hand down on the car, stopping me from walking past. Oh shit. I turn around, but he has me trapped against the limo with his arms.
Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!
I can’t be trapped by him, in his sexy arms! It might seem silly, but his arms really do affect me like that. I can’t look up at him, if I do I’ll be a goner. His beautiful blue eyes affect me just as much as his muscled arms. That’s the mistake I made last night.
“Don’t fuck about Tan, tell me. Did you leave with someone last night?” I don’t answer him. I know I can end this right now by telling him no, but I can’t do that. That would mean I’ve lost, and I’m not prepared to do that. Leo presses his body against mine and I tense, his body feels so good, hard and warm. His body is so perfect, I can’t have him pressing it against me, I’m already responding to him. He leans down, speaking directly into my ear; it sends shivers all over my body. “Did you fuck someone last night? Tell me now, because I need to fucking know.”
“No you don’t.”
“Yes I do. I need to know if someone’s tried to take what’s not theirs. You’re mine, angel.”
I gasp, shoving at his chest. He doesn’t move at all. “You’re a fucking jerk, Leo!” I duck under his arms fast enough that he can’t stop me. I point my finger in his smug, beautiful face. “I am not yours; you lost that right four years ago.”
Leo frowns and tries to reach out to me. “Angel-”
I move away so he can’t touch me. “No! Don’t call me that! You can’t call me that anymore!”

1 Excerpt

I walked through the forest for what seemed to be hours enjoying the air, the fresh smell of the oak trees and the subtle sound of a creek nearby. I couldn’t help but wonder where I was headed. Maybe it had just been so long that I’d forgotten my destination. Where was I anyway?

Suddenly, my haze lifted and it was perfectly clear. Not more than a hundred feet in front of me I saw the unmistakable signs of the clearing ahead. Until that point, the path was barely three feet wide, not quite a trail. The trees became increasingly separated, which I hadn’t noticed until then. Up ahead, the trees were at least ten feet apart. I knew exactly what was beyond those trees. I needed to hurry, there was not enough time. There was never enough time!

As I ran to the clearing just ahead, my chest began to tighten. The heat on my skin and my shortness of breath had nothing to do with running. Deep in the pit of my stomach I knew that he was there. I knew that it was too late. The rush of adrenaline that flowed through my veins would not be enough to get me there in time.

Breaking through the trees and into the clearing, my fears were about to become my reality. I saw the unmistakable silhouette of the man that I had been looking for as long as I could remember. I ran with the hope that this time, I would catch him. This time, I would see his face and hear his voice. Finally, after all this time I caught up with him. I was about to touch his shoulder so that he would have to turn and face me, when everything went black. That’s when I heard beep, beep, beep! What was that annoying sound? Beep, beep, beep! Where was it coming from?

Beep, Beep, Beep!

The alarm clock. I hate alarm clocks. It was time to get up. I would rather have finished my dream. For six years later the dreams had remained unchanged. I always saw the man, who I knew that I loved, but I could never see his face. How could I love someone that I’ve never met? I could not deny what I felt when I saw him. The intense emotions ignited my need, my desire, and my completeness. If I could have just seen his face, maybe I could understand what I felt for him.

I was born and raised in Arizona and currently live in Phoenix. The heat can be difficult during the summer, but I try my best to spend most of my time during the hottest months indoors writing. I would love to travel someday and I hope that my writing will take me many places and hopefully not just in my head. My favorite vacation spot right now is San Diego California, but my dream places to visit are all overseas. Although, since I have only seen a fraction of the United States, I would love to travel the nation someday as well. First on my bucket list however is to explore the historical landmarks in Greece and Italy, and the castles all over Europe.

Up until recently, I have spent most of my adult life in college and working in sales and customer service type positions, while also raising my two incredible kids and serving three years in the Army National Guard. Recently I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a published author and I have begun to work on my writing full time. I am currently working on my first book in an eight book series which I have titled Reborn. Writing for me has always seemed like an unattainable dream, but now I realize that some dreams are only unattainable if we do not attempt to reach them.

I completed my Master of Science in Psychology in the spring of 2013 and I have also taken some graduate courses in Ancient and Classical history. I scheduled to begin my doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) in August 2014. I believe that the knowledge I have gathered from my life experiences as well as my education has assisted me in creating some interesting and complex characters. I hope you enjoy getting to know them as much as I have.

Desires by Galia Ryan

Description:

Anna is one of Elite Escort Agency’s most popular call girls. She is quite comfortable living in the lap of luxury and pleasing a variety of wealthy men on her own terms; however, she longs to return to respectability. Only now she is accustomed to the best of everything. So Anna embarks on a quest to discover what else she is good for, other than dazzling every man who crosses her path.

Anna’s calm is shattered when a former client resurfaces. A few years earlier Adam introduced Anna to bondage and submission. But although he held her in his thrall, Adam overestimated his power. When he demanded total surrender, she cut herself off from him forever. Now Adam is asking to see her again. Initially she refuses, but what can she do? She can’t stop thinking about him.

The owner of Elite, Stephanie, is also haunted by memories of a former lover–Giancarlo, now married and dedicated to charitable work. When, after ten years, they come together once more, neither can resist the pull of their unresolved past, despite the possible consequences to Giancarlo’s career.

Desires is Book 3 of the Luxuria Trilogy. It completes the cycle that began with Anna’s story in Choices and Stephanie’s in Secrets.

4 Blushing Star Review4 Blushing Stars!!!!

Desires is the conclusion of the Luxuria Trilogy by Galia Ryan. Desires is not a standalone, you need to read the other two books, Choices and Secrets, to fully understand the series. This was my first time reading a book by this Author. I didn’t know what to expect and went into it just wanting a good story. It was a good story, I enjoyed reading it. The characters made me laugh at times and shake my kindle at others. The story flowed nicely. Over all I would recommend this series to a friend.

Synopsis

One letter can change it all…

When caregiver Charla Tayor arrives at the isolated cottage of a man suffering with Alzheimer’s, she’s given one instruction to carry out upon his death: to deliver a letter to a man named Liam Murphy. Three years later, she’s face-to-face with the letter’s recipient, a tattooed Irish Bounty Hunter who’s exactly the type of man she’s trying to avoid.

But Charla can’t ignore their undeniable connection as Liam drags her deeper into her patient’s troubled past. Just as she’s opening her heart, her life teeters on a dangerous edge, and there’s only one man who can save her.

Excerpt

Charla gasped. Every single piece of wood paneling was ripped from the walls, exposing the interior framework of the house. The basement was trashed, the boards strewn and broken all over the ground. She knew there was no way Jack had the strength to do this. Her heart hammered as panic flooded her body.

Someone was here.

“Shit,” she whispered as she turned and fled up the stairs, gripping the bat until her fingers ached. Just as she reached the top step, a black figure appeared. A large arm wrapped around her waist and pulled her through the doorway. Her bag skidded across the kitchen floor as she shrieked and kicked. She swung the bat wildly in the air but was unable to connect to the body behind her. She felt her body weaken under the man’s strong arms as he pulled her in tighter until she was snug against him. She jabbed the bat behind her, still trying to connect in vain.

“Drop the bat,” he rasped in her ear.

She squirmed and kicked her legs, trying to get free from his grasp. He picked her off the ground.

“Drop the bat,” he repeated calmly as she swung the bat loosely with only one hand. His accent lingered in her ear. It was thick, an accent she’d heard before in one of her nursing classes.

“No,” she choked out. She wasn’t going to go down without a fight. Not here, not in the only place she’d felt safe for the last three years.

“Drop the fucking bat,” he barked this time, squeezing even harder. She felt the pressure on her chest constrict her breathing. She panted, wincing at the burn in her ribs. “Don’t make me hurt you.”

The former world champion in the vicious world of MMA fighting thought he’d been through the worst and has now carried that guilt and pain with him since.

Then he met Livie Acosta. The moment he laid his eyes on the exotic beauty, he was hooked. In that split second of looking into her wild and hurt eyes, his heart began to beat again. He knew then that he would never be able to let her go… but was that the right thing for him to do? He’d just found her and now—well, now he didn’t know what to think. To him, Livie was more than just a girl, more than just a friend. Meet the Author

Author PictureMy name is Melissa DeOlmos, a newbie to the world of indie writing. I live in sunny side Palm Bay, Florida with my two lovely crazies ages five and two, along with my Law Enforcement champ of a husband. I could say that writing novels has been a passion that I’ve always pursued, but I can’t. Writing for me has always been my own secret escape into a land of wonders, opportunities, loves and so much trouble that I sometimes wonder if I need medication for the stories that pop into my head. I am now deciding to share my mystical mind and stories with the world, so that hopefully others may also find that little something extra they’ve been looking for. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy my books.

Prologue

Ocean

The tires of my Range Rover screeched outside as Liv took off, making my skin crawl. It was a given something wasn’tright with Liv, but this wasn’t her typical nervous breakdown behavior. No, this was much worse. I could feel it deep inside of me; the familiar feeling of my life spiraling out of control was beginning to take hold of me. When she asked me to let her go, there was so much more meaning behind those words. She wasn’t just having a panicattack; Liv was acting out of desperation, and I know exactly what people are capable of when they act out of desperation. Fuck this shit! If I was going to let her say goodbye to me, we were going down together!

“Law! Law, we need to go now! Where the hell are you?”

Walking around the maze of a studio,my nerves were unraveling with each passing second. Turning the corner, I punched the wall, my fist going straight through the dry wall.

“What the fuck asshole! I was taking a fucking piss. What the hell was that for?”

“We need to go. Something’s not right with Liv, and I’m not staying here. Socome with me or stay I don’t give a shit, but I’m leaving.”

He looked me up and down, then back to the hole I just put through the wall.

“Yeah, I’m coming with you. Head out, I’ll lock up the back and be right out.”

I turned around, walking away before he even finished his sentence. I needed Liv in my arms; I needed to see she was okay. The drive to our condo was the longest fucking drive ever. I jumped in my seat when my cell phone went off with Liv’s ringtone. I pulled it out quickly, answering it on the first ring.

“Baby, you okay? I’m sorry; I didn’t mean to get pissed. Baby?”

All I could make out were the haunting screams and cries coming out of Liv. Her voice was hoarse and strained as ifshe had been screaming for hours. I heard her say goodbye in between her screams and then a loud crash on the other end. My heart wanted to bust out of my chest and I wanted to fucking beat the shit out of Law for driving so fucking slow!

“FUCK LAW, DRIVE FASTER, GO GO GO!”

I said kicking the shit out of his dashboard.

The next turn Law took, the truck nearly tipped over. I punched the gate opener busting the gadget to shreds. As the gate started to open slow as fuck, I jumped out of the truck and took off running. The adrenaline, pain, fear, and hate shredding my veins open was afeeling I experienced not too long ago. They were the same feelings I had after my bike accident as I held my sisters dying body in my arms on the side of the road. I flew up the stairs, not seeing or feeling anything except for my need to get to Liv before I was too late. I couldn’t let her die too; I wouldn’t survive it.

Tears started pouring from my eyes on their own. When I reached our door, I kicked it open without a secondthought. The smell and the sight of blood knocked the little wind I had left in my lungs out of me. My body burned in its entirety as I took in in the site of Liv up against the wall on the floor cutting herself with a big ass piece of glass. When she pulled her wrist out in front of her, I snapped out of my shock, but was too slow. She dug the shard of glass deep into her wrist slicing upwards. When she got to her elbow, she turned white and fell over.

“No, baby no! Livie… Livie open your eyes. LAW CALL THE FUCKING AMBULANCE! Don’t leave me baby;please, I can’t fucking lose you too. LAW! I won’t make it Livie. Fuck you for doing this! I love you Livie, don’t leave me, please!”

Excerpt

Deciding that my overactive hormones were under control, I turned back toward the rest of the room but gasped as soon as I did. Stefan stood directly behind me, eyes looked up from hooded lids. The slight tension from before was almost out of control as he closed the distance between us. With each foot in my direction, I responded with a step backwards, until finally the wall stopped me. His tongue slid out over his lips making them glisten in an exceptionally tantalizing way.

Not that I noticed of course, but someone might.

“Is something wrong, Greyson Rose?” My name rolled off his tongue as he annunciated every syllable.

“No, wh…” Deep Breath. “Why do you ask?”

He took one more step closer. “You suddenly got very…” His face leaned down toward my chest, as he listened to the rapid beat against my ribs. “Jumpy.”

The scent that covered every square inch of him took my senses hostage. Shivers raced up and down my spine and I tried to clear the intoxicating haze from my awareness.

“I’m not.” I choked out.

A mischievous grin touched his eyes and as much as I wanted to hate him for getting some sick pleasure out of what he was doing—I couldn’t. The urge to shove him back and pull him closer raged a war deep in my psyche. Stefan slowly lifted his arms and pinned the wall on either side of my shoulders. His feet stayed firmly planted but he lowered his upper body within an inch of mine.

“So, last night you got me to promise I would shut down my work, at a time much earlier than I anticipated leaving. Do you remember?”

“Yes,” I stuttered out.

Stefan nodded, keeping his intense gaze trained on me. “Now I have something I want you to do for me.”

My heart leapt into my throat and a sudden rush of heat swirled low in my belly. The heaves of my chest brushed faintly against his and each touch made my breath catch.

“Wh…what’s that?” The shake of my voice became unbearable as I struggled to remain vigilant.

“I just want you to answer one simple question for me.” His right hand left the wall, he held up one finger an inch from my nose.

“Okay?”

“You need to answer me with complete and absolute honesty. I’ll know when you’re lying to me, Greyson Rose. Will you promise to answer truthfully?”

At this point I couldn’t filter my answers even if it was the difference between life and death. My tongue licked out onto my incredibly dry lips. For the first time Stefan’s eyes left mine as they focused onto my mouth. I forced down a rising groan.

“I promise.”

About Megan

I am Megan Noelle! I have been writing for many years and currently have two books out that are part of a series. My For You series were the first novels I published but I had to stop everything to write Stefan and Grey’s story in, A Broken Forever. I have been writing since I was old enough to hold a pen and finally pursued my dream of becoming a novelist. Writing is my passion and I am all for following one’s passions! One of my other passions is being a mom of my adorable daughter Peyton. When I’m not writing I’m a stay at home mom and a full time student. I’m getting close to finishing my 2-year degree and I am more than ready for a break. There are many things I want to do in life, but if I can write, be with my daughter and my family—I will be happy!

5 *NEW* Random Things You Don’t Know About Me!

1. I have recently retired my love for Diet Coke and focused solely on Diet Pepsi. And yes, I know all about aspartame, and all that bad stuff. But, it’s delicious.

2. I would someday love to write a book that Tim Burton wants to make into a movie!

3. I have an unfailing love for many movies I watched growing up (not just Disney) and it is very difficult for me to like anything new. Some of my favorites set the bar too high apparently! (When Harry Met Sally, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Father of the Bride Part I & II, & many more!)

4. I have a horrible wonderful addiction to book covers!

5. I have more story ideas in my head than I will ever be able to write.
